Hey I'm Lainie Kleifield and this will be my 10th summer at camp and 3rd summer on staff. I am a freshman at Indiana University and I am majoring in elementary and special education. I am so pumped for this summer and all the fun things that are in store. You will most likely find me dancing and singing in Happy Camper Hall, eating Ducky's delicious chocolate chip pancakes, or tubing with my friends on Blue Lake. Can't wait to see you all soon! As any good camp director will tell you, the key to a successful summer is the caliber of the staff. Implementing a dynamic program and maintaining a beautiful facility is only meaningful if our staff supports the mission of providing a safe and nurturing camp environment for our campers. The selection of quality staff is given top priority. We look for the “cream of the crop”……the best of the best.
At Agawak we select sensitive, enthusiastic, exceptional people who are dedicated to working with children. Our staff is composed of undergraduate and graduate students, teachers, coaches and high school students who love camp, the outdoors and working with children. Agawak staff members are high spirited, passionate individuals from around the country and world who want to make a positive difference in the lives of our girls.

Hi, I'm Tim Keate. This is my sixth summer up here at camp. I love it here at Agawak and can't think of a better place to be in the summer. I even get to see my sister "Dewey" Abrams and her husband Matt and their three lovely children who are just down the road. Can't wait for a great summer.

Hi I'm Jordyn! This is my 10th summer at camp and my second year on staff. I'm currently a senior at Glenbrook North and next fall I will be attending Indiana University! I can't wait for another amazing summer on Blue Lake! Agawak's the best and I'm counting down the days until I'm eating all of Ducky's yummy food, singing at campfire, and swimming in Blue Lake! I just finished my junior year at Highland Park High School and have been counting down the days since I left camp to come back! Hey I'm Claire and I live in Cambridge, England. My friends and family think I'm crazy as this will be my 5th summer returning to Agawak, but I have made some amazing friends here and it really is like a second home, I couldn't imagine a summer without it. At home I work in child care and hope to become a social worker, although I love traveling. I can't wait to be down at Archery and the ski docks this summer, as well as all the fun of Blue and white!!
